At Château le Verdoyer, we have considered every detail to ensure that the whole family—truly everyone—can enjoy their holiday in the heart of the Périgord Vert. The vast majority of our 23-hectare estate in Champs-Romain is fully accessible independently, without the need to ask for assistance at every turn.

What is accessible on the estate

The Périgord Vert, with its hills and deep forests, might seem challenging for those traveling in a wheelchair. Château le Verdoyer has taken up this challenge with care. Here is a practical overview of what awaits you on-site.

In total autonomy

Most areas of the campsite can be explored without assistance:

• Restaurant: accessible entrance on the pond side, adapted toilets inside
• Terrace: settle in comfortably, our team will take care of the rest
• Common sanitary facilities: reserved PRM cabin
• Shop: level access entrance; our team is happy to assist with high shelves
• Reception: wheelchair-accessible counter
• Kids club: large ground-level room

With a little help or upon reservation

Certain facilities and services require advance booking — please do not hesitate to contact us in advance so we can arrange everything for your peace of mind:

• Swimming pool: electric pool lift for easy access
• Electric scooter: available for rent upon reservation
• Electric patient lift: available upon reservation
• Home care support: nurse or caregiver available morning and/or evening upon reservation — for getting up, going to bed, personal hygiene, or medical care

This is the centerpiece of Château le Verdoyer for accessible holidays: spacious, well-equipped, and thoughtfully designed from A to Z to facilitate wheelchair movement. It comfortably accommodates 4 to 6 people, allowing the whole family to stay together without compromising on space or comfort.

Designed for maximum independence, it features a fully accessible bathroom, wide doors and circulation areas, and a ground-level terrace for enjoying evenings in the Périgord.

Low season offer: enjoy a 25% discount on the public rate for any booking outside of July and August. A wonderful opportunity to discover the Périgord Vert in peace, when nature is at its most beautiful.
