Directions if you are arriving from…
via Limoges
- If arriving from the North on the A20, take the Périgueux Exit just before Limoges. Follow the D2000 and the RN 21, passing Châlus until you reach Firbeix. Immediately after the village of Firbeix, turn right, following and driving through Miallet and Saint Saud.
- Approximately 2km after St Saud, on the road to Nontron, turn right towards Abjat. The Château is 400m further on.
via Périgueux West or the Ribéracois area
- Take the Angoulême road (D939) until after the Brantôme bypass: at the roundabout, follow signs for Nontron (D675).
- At the entrance to Nontron, keep right towards Limoges and Châlus (D707), then after a few kilometres, turn left, still following signs for Châlus and Limoges (D85).
- 10 km further on, at a crossroads between Abjat sur Bandiat and Saint Saud, turn right, and the Château will be 2 km ahead on your left.
via Périgueux East, Bergerac, or Sarlat
- Take the N21 towards Limoges.
- Take the first exit at Thiviers and follow the D707 towards St. Jean de Côle and St. Pardoux-la-Rivière.
- Here, take the road to Champs Romain, drive through this village and follow the small signs: a few kilometres after Champs Romain, at a “T” junction, turn right, then 100 m further on, turn left: the Château is 400 m ahead.
via Montbron (RN10) and Piégut
- Follow and drive through Abjat sur Bandiat. Head towards Saint Saud.
- At the crossroads (2km after Abjat), continue straight, and the Château will be 2 km ahead on your left.
