When you think of camping, you often imagine barbecues and tomato salads, right? But at Château le Verdoyer, we’ve decided to put gastronomy in the spotlight! Our restaurant welcomes you with a tempting menu of Périgord specialties, including a homemade foie gras that is absolutely divine. Prepare yourself for an unforgettable culinary journey!

An Exceptional Setting, Two Unique Atmospheres
The historic walls of Château le Verdoyer house a restaurant highly regarded by our guests. You have the choice between two distinct atmospheres:
- The Stone Room: A cozy and refined atmosphere complete with a fireplace (heated in early season and autumn), perfect for savoring our gastronomic menus crafted by our chef. On the menu: homemade foie gras terrine, red mullet and piquillo pepper salad, Beef fillet with ceps (porcini mushrooms), or duck breast with walnuts… Enough to make your taste buds tingle!
- The Bright Room: A large hall overlooking the pond, ideal for family meals. This room sometimes hosts musical evenings or themed dinners. And for families, a dedicated play and coloring area keeps children entertained.
We make it a point of honor to use local (or regional) products: honey from La Coquille, Beef or Ostrich from Saint Saud, Trout from Saint Jean de Côle, Pineau des Charentes, and even the saffron comes from a producer in Champs Romain, just a few kilometers from the campsite. Local, fresh, and delicious: that is our motto!
Lakeside Terrace and Arrival Dinner: The Pleasure Continues
When the sun shines, enjoy your meal al fresco on our lakeside terrace. An idyllic setting for moments of relaxation and enjoyment!
And, before you ask: there are no mosquitoes!
Arrival Dinner: A Gourmet Welcome
To ease your transition, we offer an “arrival dinner” for only €17. Upon reservation, enjoy a simple and quick meal (such as spaghetti bolognese or beef bourguignon) on the evening of your arrival at the resort.
Important: This dinner is valid only on the evening of your arrival, and must be reserved before your stay. We encourage you to book in advance!

Our restaurant is open every evening (except Wednesdays) throughout the camping season. We recommend booking your table to ensure you don’t miss out on this culinary experience.
