When we think of camping, we often imagine barbecues and tomato salads, don’t we? But at Château le Verdoyer, we have decided to put gastronomy in the spotlight! Our restaurant welcomes you with a tempting menu of Périgord specialties, including a homemade foie gras that is simply divine. Prepare yourself for an unforgettable culinary journey!

An Exceptional Setting, Two Unique Atmospheres
The historic walls of Château le Verdoyer house a restaurant highly appreciated by our guests. You can choose between two atmospheres:
- The Stone Dining Room: A cozy and refined atmosphere with a fireplace (lit at the beginning of the season and in the autumn), perfect for savoring our gourmet menus crafted by our chef. On the menu: homemade foie gras terrine, red mullet and piquillo pepper salad, beef with porcini mushrooms, or duck breast with walnuts… Everything to make your taste buds tingle!
- The Bright Room: A spacious room overlooking the pond, ideal for family meals. Occasionally, this room hosts musical evenings or themed dinners. For families, there is a games and coloring area to keep the children occupied.
We make it a point of honor to use local (or regional) products: honey from La Coquille, beef or ostrich from Saint-Saud, trout from Saint-Jean-de-Côle, Pineau des Charentes, and even the saffron comes from a producer in Champs-Romain, just a few kilometers from the campsite. Local, fresh, and tasty: that is our motto!
Waterside Terrace and Arrival Dinner: The Pleasure Continues
When the sun is shining, enjoy our terrace by the pond to savor your meal al fresco. An idyllic setting for moments of relaxation and pleasure!
And, before you ask: there are no mosquitoes!
Arrival Dinner: A Gourmet Welcome
To make your arrival easier, we offer an “arrival dinner” for only €17. By reservation, enjoy a simple and quick meal (such as pasta bolognese or beef bourguignon) on the evening of your arrival at the campsite.
Important: This dinner is valid only on the evening of your arrival, and upon reservation prior to your stay. We recommend booking in advance!

Our restaurant is open every evening (except Wednesdays) during the camping season. Remember to book your table so you don’t miss out on this culinary experience.

A Little Hungry? Choose the Snack Bar!
Looking for a quick meal in July and August? Our Snack Bar “Les Perroquets,” located on the terrace in front of reception, offers chips, paninis, nuggets, salads, and much more at affordable prices.
