At Château le Verdoyer, water is everywhere — and in all its forms. A heated indoor pool with spa, a large semi-Olympic swimming pool, a 37-meter water slide, a paddling pool for toddlers, and even a natural swimming pond with a sandy beach… Our nearly 2,000 m² aquatic area is one of the campsite’s greatest prides in the heart of the Périgord Vert.

An aquatic complex in the heart of the Périgord-Limousin Regional Nature Park
Nestled within the 28-hectare estate, our aquatic areas have been designed to ensure everyone finds their bliss — whether you are a junior swimmer, a fan of laps, parents looking to relax, or families in search of excitement. And because we are in the heart of the Périgord Vert, even swimming here retains a taste of nature.
The indoor pool and spa: relaxation all season long
Even when the sun is playing hide-and-seek, the heated indoor pool remains accessible. It is one of the areas we particularly appreciate at the beginning and end of the season when mornings are still crisp. The integrated spa is ideal for relaxing after a long hike in the Dronne Valley, or simply for a well-deserved break. The temperature is maintained throughout the stay, and the atmosphere is intentionally serene — the antithesis of the water slide, in a way.

The large pool: for serious swimmers
Our outdoor semi-Olympic pool welcomes those who enjoy serious swimming. With a uniform depth of 1.70 m and spacious lanes, it is the perfect place to clock up those lengths. From the poolside, the view of the château creates a backdrop found nowhere else in the Dordogne.
The family pool: games and laughter guaranteed
At 90 cm deep, the family pool is the favorite playground for slightly older children. Shallow enough for parents to keep a watchful eye, yet large enough for ball games to continue until dinnertime.
The paddling pool: first splashes for toddlers
Designed especially for the youngest, the paddling pool offers a depth adapted to their first steps in the water. Secure and supervised, it allows toddlers to discover the joy of water at their own pace, while parents relax right nearby.
The 37-meter water slide: the flagship attraction of the summer
It is hard to miss the slide when arriving at the campsite — and even harder to resist the urge to try it. With its 37 meters fully integrated into the estate’s natural landscape, it offers a thrilling ride suitable for both children and adults who have kept their inner child alive. A separate landing pool ensures safety upon arrival.
The Ponds: The Authenticity of the Périgord Vert
Following the tradition of the Périgord Vert, nicknamed the land of 1000 ponds, we offer you three distinct bodies of water:

Practical Information
Opening period: from late April to late September.
Access reserved for all campsite residents, whether they are staying in a pitch, mobile home, or chalet.
A Handimove (pool lift chair) system is available upon request for the large outdoor pool and the indoor pool — please contact us before your arrival so we can prepare everything.
All our accommodations are located a maximum of 5 minutes’ walk from the aquatic area.
Our Environmental Commitment
Managing an aquatic area of this size within a Regional Natural Park comes with responsibilities. We utilize eco-friendly filtration systems, optimize our water consumption, and take great care to preserve the biodiversity surrounding our ponds. Raising our guests’ awareness of these challenges is part of the Verdoyer experience—because the Périgord Vert you come to enjoy is also the one we have a duty to protect.
